Shipping Policy
At Delid Tool, we provide fast, reliable global shipping for all orders. Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days, and all shipments include tracking.
Free Worldwide Shipping
Free worldwide shipping is automatically included with all Delid Tools and full repair kits once the order total reaches the $30 USD threshold.
Orders below $30 USD do not qualify for free global shipping.
Accessories and consumables (such as blades, decals, thermal pads, and paste) do not qualify for free shipping when purchased on their own unless your cart total reaches $30 USD or includes a qualifying tool or full repair kit.
If you add a qualifying tool or kit to your order, your entire shipment will ship free worldwide.
Shipping Costs for Accessories
For accessory-only orders below the $30 USD free-shipping threshold, a flat-rate shipping cost applies. Shipping rates are displayed at checkout before payment is completed.
Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times vary by region:
- Standard international shipping: typically 7–14 business days
- Express international shipping: typically 2–5 business days
- Domestic (New Zealand): usually 1–3 business days

Import Duties, Taxes, and Handling Fees
International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, VAT, customs charges, or carrier handling fees imposed by the destination country or shipping provider.
These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Delid Tool does not collect, control, or receive these fees.
We ship globally, and import rules, thresholds, and fees vary significantly between countries and carriers. Customers are responsible for checking local import requirements before ordering.
Order Processing & Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear.
Address Accuracy
Please ensure that your shipping address is complete and correct. Delid Tool is not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.
Change-of-Mind Cancellations & Refused Deliveries
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Orders that have not yet been shipped can usually be cancelled for a full refund.
If an order has already been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled while in transit. In these cases, the order will be treated as a change-of-mind return once the package is returned to us.
For change-of-mind cancellations after dispatch (including refused deliveries or packages returned to sender):
- A refund will be issued once the package is returned and inspected
- The refund amount will be the order total minus the actual shipping cost already incurred
- Any return-to-sender or carrier handling fees, if charged by the shipping provider, may also be deducted from the refund
Free shipping promotions apply to completed purchases. If an order qualifying for free shipping is cancelled after dispatch, the actual outbound shipping cost will still be deducted from the refund.
If a returned item arrives damaged, incomplete, or missing components, Delid Tool reserves the right to adjust the refund amount accordingly.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned package has been received and processed.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
All tool and repair-kit shipments include tracking and are shipped fully insured. If your package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us and we’ll work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
NZ Post Insurance, Claims, and Refunds
All major tools and repair kits are shipped fully insured through NZ Post.
Lost Packages
If your item appears lost (no tracking movement for an extended period), we will initiate an NZ Post investigation on your behalf.
NZ Post requires:
- A minimum investigation period before a claim can be lodged
- Additional time for the claim to be processed and approved
Typical NZ Post claim assessments can take 10–25 business days, depending on destination and complexity.
Once NZ Post approves the claim, we will immediately:
- Issue a replacement, or
- Provide a full refund, according to your preference.
Damaged Packages
If your parcel arrives damaged:
- Please keep all original packaging
- Take clear photos of the parcel and its contents
- Contact us within 7 days
We will submit an insurance claim with NZ Post.
After approval, we will:
- Ship a replacement at no cost, or
- Provide a full refund
Claims Pending
Refunds or replacements cannot be issued before NZ Post completes and approves the insurance claim, as NZ Post may request additional evidence or customer confirmation.
We will keep you updated throughout the process.
